I am going to post a message on the guestbook and let myself know I did a good job on fixing up the website after having to change servers. Nice job me!

Wow! This site still exsists? I see that it’s doing well. Congrats!

  3. KellsBells says:

Wow, an update! I promised to hold my breath until this site was updated, but I only lasted about 40 seconds. Then I promised to never go to the site again. That lasted a year.

    One more thing….

I saw on Dean Florez’ website that he feels the length of a cow’s tail is very important and he is spending alot of money and time in committe on this hot topic.

To a common sense average joe like me, I’m not so sure that is really what’s on everyone’s mind….but I could be wrong. I just simply don’t have any hard evidence.

Is there any way you could put up a poll on your site asking people to please vote on the following:

What is more important to you at this time:

    A. How long someone cuts a cow’s tail.
    B. The California State Budget.

Only difference I see is the nearly $4 million Clovis Unified bonus vs. CVRC’s $500k

  11. Thew says:

This is an excellent find! And I agree, the two are nearly identical but are being reported and treated very differently. I will do some further investigation and see if I can find any mention of this by Senator Florez. If not, I think he will have some explaining to do.

  12. My2Cents says:

Check out this Fresno Bee Story

They praise Clovis Unified May 25th for giving out a one time bonus for “Frugality”.

Nearly exact situation as CVRC…good management coupled with employee sacrifices.

  13. Dad says:

Let’s hope that State Senate Majority Leader Dean Florez and others will do the right thing and let the employees of CVRC keep their money. That would show some integrity on their part.

Its good to see that real journalism is alive and well. Your article was dead on. Too bad the mainstream is misled by reporters on network TV.
    Thanks for keeping it real

  15. Nick Moreno says:

very logical on the CVRC take. i just wish the fresno bee, channel 47 and every other tv station would have been as logical instead of thinking they had a “breaking story”. thank you for your logic.

  16. Dad says:

I enjoyed Dr. Spork. Hope you get lots of help with your move at the end of this month.

  17. Thew says:

Thanks Jonathan, but what I really want to know is what LeVar thinks of it.

  18. Jonathan Gregory says:

This is awesome. I appreciate that you added the sound file of you reading the whole intro. GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Thew says:

@Erin, I think you have me confused with Dr. Spork. He is the one with the vlogs. I don’t really have any vlogs, but thank you for the kind words about my website.

@wolfy, what is your wife’s website? I’ll have to check it out. As for packing to move, I am doing that next week, and I just got done working on Kids Bash for two weeks and then attending a curriculum adoption training for a week, so I deserved to spend a little time on something I wanted to do.

  20. wolfy says:

You remind me of my wife, you are using the distracton of setting up your new website instead of packing up to get ready for you move to England or Pixley, they are so culturely close it’s hard to keep it straight.

  21. Erin says:

Hey I like the new site. Hoping to see some more VIDEO work on it. I really like your “vlogs” and also want to see some short movies you’ve been working on!

  22. david says:

this site is awesome………. for me to poop on!

  23. Thew says:

Of course, the serial comma should ALWAYS be used, under every circumstance. I am appalled that anyone would even consider otherwise.
