I hadn’t thought of this Matt, but you’re right. I shall have to retract my recommendation of initiating 5-way phone calls on the grounds that it conflicts with my scathing admonishment of people who forward emails.

The same applies to telemarketing. At the end of one week, a 5-way phone call chain that you start will have connected you to 78,125 people (assuming no one hangs up and everyone called joins in the hilarity). Several of those called are bound to be telemarketers.
