Rebecca’s iPod Fund

villian2.jpgIn the early hours of February 28, 2008, someone broke into our van and stole Rebecca’s purse. Along with credit cards, a checkbook, and other important documents, the thief stole Rebecca’s most prized, non-biological possession, her iPod. She had to wait for several years before she could afford one, and it was very important to her.

You see, Rebecca is a very special person who spends much of her day helping adults with disabilities in her community. Part of her job is quite stressful, involving time alone at her desk filling out reports and other tedious paperwork. Before this joy was stolen from her, Rebecca enjoyed listening to music on her iPod to help her deal with the high stress of her job. More recently, Rebecca and her husband adopted three children from the foster system, which has added much joy, but also added responsibility and stress. Getting her iPod back would surely be a just reward for such a wonderful woman.

If you could make even a small donation to help replace Rebecca’s stolen iPod, it would be such a thoughtful gift. Be sure and let us know who you are when you make your donation, and your name will be included on the card when Rebecca is given her iPod back. Just click the button below and follow the directions. No PayPal account is required.
